PART-TIME OUTLAWS / Updated — September 28, 2026
Privacy
The member space collects the information needed for membership and chosen features. Optional choices for the card, alerts and each sponsor are separate.
When you visit our social channels
Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Linktree links take you to external services. Information you provide there and the cookies they use are governed by their own policies. The email link opens your mail app; no message is sent automatically.
Technical information
Depending on the address you visit, pages are delivered by Cloudflare or Vercel. These providers receive the technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, including IP addresses and web requests. The group adds no advertising profiling tools. Provider processing practices are described in their policies: Cloudflare and Vercel.
A question or a photo concern?
Email ptoutlaws@gmail.com or contact the team through the Facebook page. If a photo features you and you would like it removed, identify it in your message.
Member space and business directory
The member space collects the sign-in email, the member profile (full name, address, email and phone), a face photo and registration and consent confirmations, the selected municipality, membership status and, when the member chooses, business information. These details are used only to secure the account, manage membership, review the listing and publish the business details expressly selected. Sign-in email, roles and internal history are never published.
Membership card
Membership cards and numbers are managed internally. No name or individual member number is shared with any sponsor. Identifiable transfers are disabled.
Exclusive sponsor discounts
Discounts require complete registration, a face photo reviewed by administration and a separate checked consent for collective negotiation only. Only anonymous aggregate statistics may support negotiations. No name, individual number, address, email, phone, photo or signature is shared with sponsors. Refusing or withdrawing consent blocks all program discounts without ending membership.
Sponsor program
At sign-up, each member reads the sponsor program and must choose to accept or refuse it. Refusing cancels all promotional offers and exclusive perks reserved for the group; membership does not depend on it. The choice can be changed at any time in the member space; refusing also withdraws every authorization given to sponsors. Each decision is kept as proof.
Seniority and tiers
The membership approval date (or the actual date of joining the group recorded by the administration) sets the member’s tier, which unlocks some discounts and group buys. The tier, seniority and any adjustment are logged with a reason and visible to the member in the member space. They are never shared with sponsors.
Commercial messages
No sponsor may send commercial electronic messages to a member without express consent, separate from the sharing authorization. Every message must include a way to unsubscribe.
Polls and SMS alerts
Active members may vote once per poll. Aggregate results appear in the member space after the team publishes them; individual votes remain private. SMS alerts are optional with separate choices for rides and polls. The number and preferences are held only for this purpose and removed on request in the member space. No SMS is sent until the number is confirmed with a code. Confirmation codes and alerts go through Twilio (messaging provider, servers possibly outside Québec); replying STOP removes the number and choices.
Group CRM
The team uses Command CRM, provided by AWebmasterM, to manage sponsors (aggregate figures only) and send SMS alerts to confirmed numbers. A member record is copied there only with a separate, optional authorization (notice member-crm-2026-09-v1): name, email, phone, municipality, status, membership date, tier, roles and alert choices, never the mailing address. Withdrawing the authorization, closing the account or erasure removes the record at the next synchronization. This provider’s servers may be located outside Québec.
Consent and withdrawal
A listing stays private until the member gives explicit consent and an independent reviewer approves it. The member separately chooses whether the public business email and website may appear. A withdrawal hides the listing on the next directory read; consent and decision records needed for accountability are kept as required by applicable obligations.
Retention, hosting and access
The network database is hosted in a Canadian Supabase region. Cloudflare provides a global delivery network, so technical data may be processed outside Québec under applicable agreements and safeguards. Account data is kept only while needed for membership and network administration. The privacy officer then handles deletion or anonymization requests according to any remaining purposes and legal or evidentiary obligations. Internal access is limited to authorized people.
Your rights and the privacy officer
You may request access to your personal information, its correction, deletion or transfer in a structured technological format, withdraw a consent or a public listing, and learn to whom it was disclosed. The member space lets you download your data and send a request; an answer is given within 30 days. Contact the Part-Time Outlaws Privacy Officer at ptoutlaws@gmail.com. A request may require reasonable identity verification. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Confidentiality incidents
Every incident is recorded in a register. If it presents a risk of serious injury, the Commission d’accès à l’information and the people concerned are notified promptly.
